Žana Kozomora: carrier
January 11 - February 28, 2019
Reception: Friday, January 11, 2019, 6–8 PM
Artist Talk with Turkish Coffee: Saturday, February 2, 2–4 PM
Local artist Žana Kozomora reflects on a recent visit to Sarajevo, where she was born, and the nostalgia inspired by an inherited brass coffee grinder in her print installation carrier. For an artist who works through collected materials and metaphor, the nostalgic object acts as a carrier: a documentation of a vanishing, intangible gesture and an ambiguous future.
