Each year, through the City of Kitchener's artist in residence program, a regional artist develops a program that reflects a balance of practice development and meaningful community collaboration. This year, Sumaira Tazeen, originally from Pakistan, has paired her voice with members of the community, particularly females, to create a dialogue about the newcomer experience. Join Sumaira in celebrating and showcasing the artwork resulting from these conversations. Take the opportunity to talk to and ask questions of the artist and the participants.
Opening: Friday, December 14, 5-8 p.m; free admission; all welcome
