Two Buildings, Many Possibilities

If you haven’t heard by now, ArtsPay is in the process of acquiring two adjacent houses on Regina St N in Uptown Waterloo. These buildings have been generously offered by HIP DEVELOPMENTS for Art$Pay (AP) to manage as visual art studios and exhibition spaces for 2, perhaps 3 years. The goal is a vibrant visual arts centre in Uptown Waterloo, and here’s how it might look!

Window Space Gallery: want to catch someone’s eye? We’re planning on programming the window space in the old Relish Studio building with a rotating schedule of artists.

Gallery Space: if you’re looking for a space to host an exhibition, look no further! The gallery space in 52 Regina St N has track lighting and walls ready to hang.

Meeting Space: our Pay-What-You-Can meeting space model is perfect for organizations looking to hold their meetings in Uptown Waterloo without breaking the bank.

Documentation Space: struggling to photograph large work? Book a gallery for a day and take the professional photos your portfolio needs.

Studio Space: this one is obvious, but worth mentioning! Practice within a vibrant community of artists, separate work from life, and keep your mess contained. Are you part of a collective? Apply together for a shared studio space and make sharing materials and resources that much easier.
